Biography

Sheridan is a partner at CM Lawyers. She has been practicing law since 2011 in a variety of practice areas, including real estate, Wills and estates, and business law. Sheridan advises companies on matters such as leasing, financing, corporate structuring, start-up, asset and share purchase or sales, and drafting shareholder agreements. In addition, Sheridan helps individuals buy and sell real estate and assists in estate planning through the preparation of Wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements. Throughout her career, Sheridan has also acted for a number of not-for-profit corporations and societies.

In addition to practicing law, Sheridan and her husband owned and operated a successful business in the natural gas industry for 15 years. She was also an instructor at Okanagan College and Thompson Rivers University. She has served as a director of both the Allan Brooks Nature Centre and Food Action Society of the North Okanagan and served for three years as the Vice-President of the Vernon Bar Association. She is currently the Vice-President of the BiodiverCity Foundation and serves as a member of the Community Futures Loans Committee.
