Biography
Jeremy joined CM Lawyers in 2026. Having previously practised as a lawyer in the United States, he is currently completing the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process and the other requirements necessary for admission to the legal profession in BC.
Before joining the firm, Jeremy practised civil litigation for more than a decade in the US. As an Assistant US Attorney for the District of Wyoming, he litigated a broad range of matters, including negligence, medical malpractice, civil rights, fraud, bankruptcy, forfeiture, administrative and environmental claims. Jeremy has appeared before a variety of courts, including state district and supreme courts and federal district and circuit courts. Whether conducting research, drafting written submissions, participating in settlement negotiations or preparing for trial, Jeremy brings a thoughtful and well-rounded approach to civil litigation.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming in 2009. He graduated with honours and Order of the Coif from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2013, where he also served on the board of the Wyoming Law Review. After law school, Jeremy served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Wyoming for two years before joining the United States Attorney’s Office in 2018.
Outside the office, Jeremy enjoys watching movies, reading, playing music and hockey, and exploring the Okanagan with his family.
