Biography
Elysa has specialized in family law and criminal law, working as a family law lawyer, crown prosecutor, and defence counsel. Her time spent in Court advocating for justice has helped her become a skilled trial lawyer. She brings years of practice navigating the justice system. Elysa’s education, training, and experience have honed her ability to resolve complex disputes, identify key legal issues, and develop creative solutions to resolve problems. Her goal is to work alongside her clients to achieve successful results. Elysa’s practice focuses on family law, including complex and high-conflict parenting issues, high-net-worth property disputes, and desk order divorce.
Elysa earned her Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University before obtaining her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan. After living in Saskatchewan for 20-years, she returned home to the Okanagan, where she spent her formative years. When she is not working, Elysa is spending time with her family, reading a novel, experimenting in the kitchen, playing chess, or jogging on the trails.
